The National Conservation Guild's genesis was a newsletter originally titled "The Network - Dedicated to weatherizers who care" The picture below is the front cover of the 2nd issue, June, 1984. As you can see we were one of the early promoters of Blower Doors. If you can read it - the article below describes some blower door history.

The idea for the National Guild was 1st described in an article published in June 1988.
