The National Conservation Guild. Now Open.
__________________________
The National Conservation Guild can now be considered "open for business".
Purposes:
* Promote the advancement of Energy Efficient Financing(EFF) and Home Energy Rating.
This will be achieved by several methods.
1. The Guild website offers extensive information to homeowners and potential home buyers regarding these programs.
From the website they can locate and contact the financiers, raters and contractors needed to fulfill an EFF endeavor.
2. An organized Press Release campaign designed to help water the seeds of progress where EFF programs are coming into existence.
Again, the website will hold these Press Releases - interested parties may retrieve and forward them to the media as they see fit.
3. A forum and database providing up the the minute EEF
news.
4. Increase and expand the Friday Report circulation.
The Friday Report is now One Year Old!
The Guild is presently faxing this report to about 800 recipients. This list will be expanded to include HVAC contractors, Insulators, Financiers, Manufactures and other interested parties.
* Help promote in depth growth.
The growth of these market realistic avenues toward a healthier Energy Conservation industry can still use all the help it can get.
While the heavy "ground work" may be partially behind us there are still quite a few hoops to jump through if the best possibilities the future might hold can be attained.
Anyone old enough to remember the "Energy Crisis" can also remember the sensational claims of many manufactures, insulators, and various purveyors of energy conservation gadgets.
The joke used to be that if a person bought all the deals that claimed to save "up to 50% of your energy costs" they would "get a check from the utility company every month"!
Without a central "proving ground" of consensus and information a repeat of history is quite likely.
Of course the expected industry growth this time should be much more evenly developed. The energy conservation / weatherization / environmentally efficient survivors still in the marketplace today will be the leaders of these new trends.
While that is a good and stabilizing thing there will be newcomers bringing in some much needed fresh blood.
The point being that the National Conservation Guild will provide a forum for both the Old Timers and expected newcomers to share and develop together.
*Promote better Indoor Air
Quality.
The National Guild website will also provide up to date documentation and developments pertaining this this most important issue.
The same efforts as stated above will be put into play in this arena.
* Provide advertising and growth opportunities for various developers in the industry.
Whether you are a contractor, manufacture, service provider or vendor/distributor you will want your service and information available for public display on the National Guild website.
As the Public Relations outreaches draw the public to the website for information - you will want to get your message out to people from your area. The National Guild website provides that opportunity.
The National Conservation Guild website now holds over 120 interactive pages of information as outlined above. We will be expanding rapidly - the backlog of presently contracted participants alone will take several weeks to catch up.
Check it out!
