Talk Radio Talks up
Sick Building Syndrome

Talk'n'Talent is a show prep service for radio talk show hosts and producers. They specialize in interviews with expert guests that know how to captivate, inform and entertain listeners.
According to their own information "One of radios hottest guests...Robert Bogosian" talks about "Sick BuildingSyn-drome...It's Out Of Control!"
According to the script the interviewer opens the show something like this.
"Is Indoor Air Pollution Killing You? The way you feel...both physically and emotionally...could be related to
the quality of the air you are breathing right now! Forms of depression, chronic sinus congestion, nausea, vomiting, burning eyes, tiredness and an inability to concentrate are the result of poor indoor air quality and sick building syndrome.
Air tight buildings and poor building ventilation trap gases released from copy machines, carpets, plastics, fabric treatments, cleaning solutions and a host of other products made from chemicals like formaldehyde and other volatile organic compounds. These gases make you sick...they have even been linked to cancer!"
The host then goes on to introduce Robert Bogosian and then starts asking the scripted questions such as "Does sick building syndrome affect a child's ability to learn?"* I think you get the picture.
Many CAP Wx programs are looking for some profit making additions to shore up funding cuts. You can get "ahead of the curve" on this one.
Air-to-air heat exchangers or Energy Recovery devices will soon become popular among health conscious and fitness people. If you are interested in more details how how you can fit into this call Mike Wright 970-349-0923.

More News from Saudi Arabia

Excerpted from
AP INTERNATIONAL..Saudi Arabia agreed Wednesday to let U.S. military officials relocate more than 4,000 American troops in that country in hopes of preventing more terrorist attacks, pledging to pay half the estimated $200-million cost.
The announcement came as senior American officials disclosed that U.S. and allied intelligence agencies are searching for two trucks believed to be laden with explosives that reportedly have been dispatched to hit American targets in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. They said the reports about the trucks are the most tangible of a number of new threats over the last month that have put U.S. military personnel in Saudi Arabia on maximum alert and led to heightened precautions by about 35,000 American civilians living and working in the desert kingdom.
"There's been a stream of threats and warnings," one counter-terrorism official said. "It's getting hard to keep up with them all. The picture changes almost daily."
Editors Note: Please make no mistake. I am not hoping for a war in the Mid-East. And I'm sure non of you are either. But the truth is that our efforts to economize energy efficiency have not been effective enough to balance internation pressures. Trouble is inevitable.

Tools for Schools

The EPA has recently published an "easy-to-use kit" showing how schools can carry out a practical indoor air action plan. This publication seems to be hard to find but we have a line on it. If you know where we can get a copy please let us know.
